Robotic arc welding is an efficient, high-quality automated fusion process in which a welding power supply transmits electricity via a welding torch from an electrode to the base metal in an arc that generates sufficient heat to melt the metal at the joint. The resulting fusion bond has the same strength as the original metals, duplicating the mechanical and physical properties of the metals. Request a Quote

Robotic ARC Welding by Vollrath
Drawn stainless steel shells are loaded onto the conveyor belt of an annealer that is atmospherically controlled to prevent oxide scale and discoloration on the parts during the annealing process.
Stainless steel parts are processed through an automated pickling/passivating line to remove oxide scale and heat tint discoloration as well as to remove surface contamination.
The pictured robotic welder is used for plasma arc welding parts that require accurate weld locations, repeatability and long weld paths (or for multiple parts with short weld paths). To help reduce part cost, this unit is set up in a cell environment to permit additional operations during welding.
